Chicago Navy Memorial Foundation Hosts Sea Power Panel with Top Admirals and Experts

Seth Cropsey, president of the Yorktown Institute, Admiral John M. Richardson (USN, Retired), and Admiral Cecil D. Haney (USN, Retired) address questions of naval strategy to contend with an aggressive China and Russia, shipbuilding and number and types of naval vessels, and the role of strategic deterrence.

On September 9, 2022, the Chicago Navy Memorial Foundation hosted a Sea Power discussion panel at which former Assistant Secretary of Defense Seth Cropsey, retired Admiral John M. Richardson, former Chief of Naval Operations, and retired Admiral Cecil D. Haney, former Commander, U.S. Strategic Command, spoke. Moderated by naval strategist Dr. Jerry Hendrix, the panel highlighted the crucial role of sea power in maintaining national security and ensuring global stability.
